Carla is a retired homeschool mom of two awesome young adults (who are adulting well), both of whom give her endless inspiration and joy in just being their mom! Carla enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, writing, scrapbooking, and singing in her church choir. She has undergraduate degrees in English and in Interpreting for the Deaf as well as a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Languages from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She has used all three degrees in homeschooling her children, interpreting for the Deaf in her community, and leading in Bible Study Fellowship. She loves writing Bible studies, praying with her prayer group, and sitting down with a cup of hot chocolate each morning in her favorite chair to meet with the Lord!
